There are no military convoys bringing fuel and supplies. The are no swarms of reporters or television trucks beaming images of the disaster around the globe. The Internet is not abuzz with discussion of this human tragedy. But, in a remote area of South Dakota where 15,000 human beings have been discarded by America, trapped on a desolate Indian reservation, Americans are freezing! In blizzard conditions, they are without fuel, heat, water and gasoline. Our government is not helping.

The one national media voice for the residents of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation has been Keith Olbermann. Watch the brief clip from his program last night, then visit the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Storm Relief/Emergency Assistance site and make a donation.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to help fellow Americans who have suffered too much, to often, too long. I have shared your blog on FB and trust other readers will also spread the news.
