The purpose of this post is simple—to share this photo taken at the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) retreat at Bethany Hills, a campground located near Kingston Springs, TN. The occasion was an ECC church picnic on August 22. I took the photo while on a nature walk with Mary Ann and friends, and thought it worth sharing this Sunday morning.

Beautiful butterfly! Wow!
I was there! (Steve was, too!) Prentice, yours is a superb photo of a beautiful animal created by our Lord! I look at this, or a spectacular sunset, etc., and consider that all the great painters of history — Raphael, Leonardo, Van Gogh, and even my favorite, Velasquez — individually or en masse could not paint as beautiful a picture as God does when He paints a sunset or a field of wildflowers or a butterfly such as this!
