As long as there are Junior Walker tunes it’ll always be 1970. The video is a 1985 performance by Junior on the Letterman Show of “What Does It Take?”, recorded in 1969 and played ’til the tape wore out in my ’64 Falcon’s 8-track.
Junior joined the Rhythm Rockers in the sky 14 years ago, but I miss him every time I’m driving down the interstate and turn on the radio.
